Business address requirements
Apply for a Hong Kong Money Services Operator (MSO) License，Must register an address for operating currency exchange or remittance services。The registered address must meet the following definitions：As a place to operate money services；Being promoted as a place to meet customers (e.g. displaying signage)；The licensee regularly controls the address as owner or tenant。
If a specific address is involved，Must ensure that customs officers have access to enforce the regulations。If the address is a residential address，The applicant must obtain the written consent of each occupier，Allow authorized personnel to enter for routine inspections。
No need to register a business address
Addresses that meet the following conditions do not need to be registered：
- Located outside Hong Kong；
- Not mainly used to operate money services，For example, only to store business records or staff training。
If there is no specific address，Correspondence address must be provided in the application form。There is no need to register a business address in the following situations:：
- Operating money services from a non-fixed address，For example, providing door-to-door service；
- Meet the customer at their office；
- Only use mobile devices to trade。
